Why we run the map
You pay $2.99 a month. We pay local artists.
Crate & Taco isn't just a map — it's how we bankroll the people making the music the crates end up holding. Membership is $2.99 a month, and those dues fund local event sponsorships of $500 to $5,000 paid to independent local artists who need a stage, a load-in fee, or a first real paycheck for a set.
The map is free. Always. Membership is the part that pays musicians — and we're not asking anyone for $500. That's what we pay out.
